# 📧 How Email Addresses Work Across OmniCampaigns

# How Email Addresses Work Across OmniCampaigns

**Email Addresses** is the area where you connect, review, and edit the mailboxes PodPitch uses to send outreach and receive replies.

The page now uses streamlined connect and edit dialogs. The underlying mailboxes and campaign history remain tied to the account.

Because new campaigns are **OmniCampaigns**, you do not need to divide a mailbox between separate Podcast Pitch and Journalist Pitch products. One OmniCampaign can use the selected sender across its enabled media types.

## Connect a sending address

1. Open **Email Addresses** from the sidebar.
2. Select the option to connect or add an email address.
3. Enter the sending address.
4. Choose the provider or connection method.
5. Complete the provider authorization or requested server settings.
6. Return to PodPitch and confirm that the address is connected.

Resolve any **Fix Now** or **Reconnect** warning before enabling automated outreach.

A team-member login address is not automatically connected for sending.

## Review or edit an address

1. Open **Email Addresses**.
2. Find the address.
3. Select **Edit** or open its details.
4. Review the connection status, signing name, signature, and other available settings.
5. Save the changes.
6. Review a pending pitch or send a test before Smart Mode resumes.

Changing an address setting does not alter messages that were already sent.

## Select the correct sender

When creating or configuring an OmniCampaign, choose the address that should send outreach and receive replies.

Check:

- official From name;
- signing name;
- email signature;
- provider connection status;
- whether the address is appropriate for the profile; and
- whether the owner can monitor replies.

Podcast, journalist, and newsletter pitches should not appear to come from an unrelated person or company.

## Use more than one address

Additional sending addresses can help teams:

- keep client or profile outreach separate;
- route replies to the appropriate owner;
- protect clear sender identity;
- avoid mixing unrelated campaigns in one mailbox; and
- distribute sending activity appropriately.

Adding another mailbox does **not** create another profile, team member, or daily pitch allowance.

## Change a campaign sender carefully

1. Connect and verify the new address.
2. Check its From name and signature.
3. Update the OmniCampaign sender.
4. Review pending pitches.
5. Send a test where available.
6. Resume Smart Mode only after the sender details are correct.

If a mailbox disconnects, reconnect it under **Email Addresses**. Reconnection does not require creating a new campaign.
