# 📋 How to Add a Media List to an OmniCampaign

Media lists let you save relevant media targets before adding them to an OmniCampaign.

## 1. Search the database

1. Open **Search**.
2. Start a new search.
3. Choose the search method available for the database, such as keyword or idea search.
4. Enter the topic, outlet, publication, host, writer, or other information you want to find.
5. Apply the filters that are available for that media source.

Search controls differ for podcasts, journalists, and newsletters.

## 2. Review the results

Open promising results and review the information provided.

Check:

* Topic and audience fit
* Recent activity
* Available reach information
* Contact or publication relevance
* Whether the target is already present in another active campaign
* Any paid-placement or exclusion information

## 3. Save targets to a media list

Select the relevant targets and choose **Add to Media List**. Give the list a clear name based on the profile, topic, audience, or outreach goal.

A saved media list does not send outreach by itself.

## 4. Add the list to an OmniCampaign

1. Open the media list.
2. Select the targets you want to use.
3. Choose **Add to Campaign**.
4. Select the correct OmniCampaign.
5. Confirm the addition.

Only compatible targets can be added to the corresponding media area of the OmniCampaign.

## 5. Review the campaign

Open **Campaigns**, select the OmniCampaign, and review the added targets in the appropriate media workspace.

Before sending:

* Remove poor fits
* Check for accidental duplicate outreach
* Review generated pitches
* Confirm the correct profile and sending email
* Keep the campaign Off or in Manual Mode until the new targets are ready

If the OmniCampaign does not appear as an option, confirm that it belongs to the correct profile and that the required media type is available in that campaign.
