# How to Edit a Profile Name

Profile names can be edited directly in PodPitch. You no longer need Support to make this change.

## Edit the name

1. Open **Profiles**.
2. Select the profile you want to update.
3. Open the profile editor.
4. Change the **Profile Name**.
5. Save the profile.

## Review the related details

Changing the profile name does not automatically correct every fact or rewrite a message that has already been sent.

After saving, review:

- the bio and profile details;
- campaign briefs and targeting;
- writing instructions;
- signatures and sender details;
- queued pitches; and
- any name references inside custom text.

If the name change affects eligible pending pitches, review or regenerate them before automated sending continues.
