How to Edit a Profile Name

Profile names can be edited directly in PodPitch. You no longer need Support to make this change.

Edit the name

1. Open Profiles.
2. Select the profile you want to update.
3. Open the profile editor.
4. Change the Profile Name.
5. Save the profile.

Review the related details

Changing the profile name does not automatically correct every fact or rewrite a message that has already been sent.

After saving, review:

• the bio and profile details;
• campaign briefs and targeting;
• writing instructions;
• signatures and sender details;
• queued pitches; and
• any name references inside custom text.

If the name change affects eligible pending pitches, review or regenerate them before automated sending continues.

If the name field is unavailable or the change does not save, contact Support through dashboard chat with the profile name and the exact error shown.
