👤 How to Make a Profile Active in PodPitch

Step 1: Go to Profiles

From your dashboard, click Profiles in the left-hand sidebar.

You’ll land on the Profiles 2.0 list, where all profiles (Podcast, Journalist, and Newsletter) appear in one unified view.

Step 2: Activate the Profile by Adding a Subscription

Find the profile you want to activate.

In the Subscriptions column on that profile row, click one of the following:

• Add Podcast
• Add Journalist
• Add Newsletter

Then choose your billing option:

• Monthly
• Quarterly
• Annual

Once confirmed, the profile becomes active and ready to use in campaigns.

Alternative Method: Assign an Unused Seat

You can also activate a profile using available seats in your account.

1. Scroll to the bottom of the Profiles page
2. Find the section showing Active Subscriptions and Unassigned Seats
3. Click the Assign / Activate button next to the seat
4. Select the profile you want to activate
5. Confirm the selection

The selected profile will immediately become active.

How to Swap a Profile After the 30-Day Lock

Active seats are locked to a profile for 30 days.

Once the lock period ends, you can swap the seat to another profile.

1. Go to the bottom of the Profiles page
2. Find the Active Subscriptions section
3. Click the swap arrows icon next to the subscription
4. Choose the profile you want to move the seat to
5. Click Confirm

The seat will move to the new profile and activate it.

If the Profile Doesn't Exist Yet

If the profile hasn’t been created yet:

1. Click Add New (top-right)
2. Select Add Inactive Profile
3. Choose Individual or Company
4. Add the LinkedIn profile link and complete the details
5. Click Save

You can then activate the profile using one of the methods above.

💡 Tip: If you don’t see your profile later, toggle Show Profiles without subscriptions at the top of the page.
