🔄 How PodPitch Subscription Renewals Work

How PodPitch Subscription Renewals Work

PodPitch subscriptions renew according to the billing schedule and agreement accepted at checkout unless cancellation is completed within the applicable notice period.

Check the renewal details

Open Manage Plan or the Plan page shown in the account and confirm:

  • the current plan and daily pitch capacity;
  • payment frequency;
  • next charge date and amount;
  • commitment term;
  • renewal term;
  • payment method; and
  • any signed agreement.

An account can have plan, Pitch Pack, domain, mailbox, or other billing items with different renewal dates. Review each displayed item.

The agreement controls the term

Current checkout offers can include 3, 6, 12, or 24-month commitments and card or bank payment. The exact options depend on the offer.

Some agreements allow cancellation before the next renewal. Longer initial terms can remain non-cancelable during the commitment and renew unless notice is given by the deadline stated in the agreement.

Always use the signed agreement and live billing summary as the source of truth. A monthly payment schedule does not automatically mean month-to-month cancellation.

Change to quarterly or annual billing

Eligible existing All Access customers can see quarterly or annual choices on the Plan page.

PodPitch shows an option only when it saves the customer money. Before confirming, review:

  • today's charge;
  • the new payment frequency;
  • the yearly saving shown; and
  • the new renewal date.

If the option is absent, contact Support or the account manager rather than promising a different schedule or discount.

Discounts

A promotion applies only as described in the checkout or agreement. A one-time discount does not automatically repeat at renewal.

Review whether the offer is one-time or recurring and the price scheduled after it ends.

Cancel from Settings

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Select I might need to cancel.
  4. Follow the prompts.
  5. Review the effective date.
  6. Confirm that every intended subscription is included.

Human assistance after a cancellation request

If you ask to cancel in dashboard chat, Hugo will provide the steps above and then immediately escalate the conversation to a human support teammate for further assistance.

The human teammate can help confirm the request, effective date, remaining access, next invoice, and account-specific terms. Opening chat alone does not replace completing the Settings prompts unless the human gives you different written instructions.

A standard end-of-period cancellation preserves access until the effective date. The next invoice should show $0 for the canceled subscription unless another active commitment or billing item remains.

If the cancellation flow fails or a renewal is still shown, contact Support before the deadline.

Removing a card is not cancellation

Deleting or replacing a payment method does not cancel an active subscription. A renewal can still create a failed or past-due invoice.

Complete cancellation separately and resolve any outstanding invoice before expecting every saved payment method to be removable.

Plan and capacity changes

Upgrades and added capacity can take effect immediately and create a prorated charge. Other changes can be scheduled for the end of the current period.

Review the effective date, charge, credit, and next invoice before confirming.

Refunds

Cancellation after a renewal does not automatically reverse the charge. Refund requests are reviewed separately and should currently be submitted within five calendar days of the charge.
