💳 How to Manage Payment Methods in PodPitch
How to Manage Payment Methods in PodPitch
Manage saved payment methods from Billing & Payments under Manage Plan.
Add a payment method
- Open Manage Plan.
- Scroll to Billing & Payments.
- Select Add New Payment Method.
- Enter the details through the secure payment form.
- Confirm that the payment method appears in the billing summary.
Card details are handled by PodPitch's payment processor. Never send a full card number or security code through support chat.
Add a backup card
PodPitch may ask you to add a backup card so billing can recover if the primary payment method fails.
- Select Add Backup Card when the prompt appears.
- Review the authorization disclosure.
- Add the card through the secure form.
- Confirm which card remains the default.
The payment processor may place a small temporary authorization while checking the card. A backup card does not replace the default card unless the interface says so, but it may be used after a payment failure.
Replace the card used for renewal
Add the new payment method first. Then select it as the default for future invoices before removing the old card.
Changing the default card normally affects future charges. It does not move a completed charge from one card to another.
If an old checkout reappears
If you already paid, do not pay again simply because an older checkout is displayed.
- Refresh the page.
- Open Manage Plan.
- Check the subscription and invoice status.
- Compare it with the receipt or billing confirmation.
- Contact Support if the account still appears unpaid.
PodPitch is designed to reconcile stale checkout and cancellation notices. Campaign creation should remain available while a recoverable payment issue is being resolved. If it is blocked, send Support the exact message and a redacted screenshot.
Card-removal rules
- Removing a card does not cancel a subscription.
- An active subscription or unpaid invoice may require a valid payment method.
- A subscription can still renew even if an attempted charge later fails.
- Cancel the subscription separately if you want future renewal to stop.
- Resolve outstanding invoices before expecting every saved payment method to be removable.
If Remove is unavailable, add a replacement, cancel the applicable subscription through the proper flow, or contact Support.
How to cancel
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Select I might need to cancel.
- Follow the prompts.
- Review and save the effective-date confirmation.
Human assistance after a cancellation request
If you ask to cancel in dashboard chat, Hugo will provide the steps above and then immediately escalate the conversation to a human support teammate for further assistance.
The human teammate can help confirm the request, effective date, remaining access, next invoice, and account-specific terms. Opening chat alone does not replace completing the Settings prompts unless the human gives you different written instructions.
After canceling
A standard cancellation remains active through the end of the paid billing period unless the confirmed cancellation says otherwise. A payment method may need to remain available until the effective cancellation date and all invoices are settled.
After the account has no active subscription or outstanding balance, return to Billing & Payments to remove any payment method the interface allows you to delete.
Need help?
Message Support through the PodPitch dashboard. Share the account email and only the last four card digits—never the full card number or security code.
