How Team Invitations Work

PodPitch lets teammates collaborate on profiles, OmniCampaigns, replies, and account settings.

Automatic coworker invitations after connecting an inbox

When you connect an inbox, PodPitch can identify coworkers you regularly email at the same company domain and prepare invitations from your own connected address.

A confirmation appears with wording such as We invited 8 coworkers at acme.com for you and an Undo button.

Important timing:

  • nothing is sent for the first 60 seconds;
  • select Undo during that window to stop the invitations; and
  • after the window closes, the invitations are sent one at a time, a few seconds apart.

Review the confirmation immediately. Avoid inviting shared distribution lists, former coworkers, unrelated contacts, or anyone who should not have access to the PodPitch team.

An invitation does not give access until the recipient completes the join process.

Invite a teammate manually

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Team.
  3. Find Invite My Team.
  4. Enter the approved teammate's email or use the invitation option shown.
  5. Review the recipient before sending.

Invitations can be sent from your connected address so the teammate can recognize who invited them.

The Team page can also provide a personal invitation link. Depending on the controls shown, you can copy, email, text, or reset it.

Anyone with a valid invitation link may be able to join the team. Share it only with approved teammates and reset it if it was sent to the wrong person or posted publicly.

After an invitation is sent

Ask the teammate to:

  1. Open the invitation.
  2. Sign in or create their PodPitch login.
  3. Confirm that they joined the correct team.
  4. Verify the profiles and campaigns they should be able to access.

If someone was invited accidentally and the Undo window has passed, review Settings β†’ Team and contact Support if you need help preventing or removing access.

If verification fails

Request or send a fresh verification code or invitation. A previous code may already have been used or may have expired.

Do not keep retrying an old code. If a fresh code produces the same error, contact Support with the teammate's email, team name, and exact error message.

Team members are not profiles or email addresses

  • Team members can log in to the account.
  • Profiles are the people, companies, or stories being promoted.
  • Email Addresses send outreach and receive replies.
  • Pitch capacity controls available daily outreach.

Inviting a team member does not create a profile, connect that teammate's inbox, or increase daily pitch capacity.

Need help?

Contact Support if an invitation was sent to the wrong person, is not received, joins the wrong team, or appears to give unexpected access. Never share passwords or authentication codes.
