✍️ How to Review and Rewrite Pitches in an OmniCampaign

An OmniCampaign can contain outreach for different media types. Review a sample from every enabled media type because podcast, journalist, and newsletter pitches serve different purposes.

Edit a single pitch

Use the individual edit control when only one pitch needs a one-time change. Save the edit before sending or scheduling it.

Change the campaign's writing

Use campaign writing settings or Custom Instructions for rules such as:

  • Required facts or talking points
  • The exact name of a program, product, or book
  • Tone and length
  • Phrases to include or avoid
  • Approved links
  • First-person or third-person perspective, using the dedicated perspective control where available

Custom Instructions affect writing. They do not determine which targets PodPitch recommends.

Update the profile

Update the selected profile when core facts, expertise, achievements, links, or offers are missing or outdated.

A profile change does not necessarily rewrite pitches that have already been generated.

Rewrite existing drafts

After a material profile, perspective, or writing change:

  1. Save the new information.
  2. Open the campaign's pitch workspace.
  3. Use Rewrite Emails for eligible pending drafts.
  4. Wait for rewriting to complete.
  5. Review samples from every enabled media type.
  6. Confirm names, claims, links, sender details, and signatures.
  7. Enable Smart Mode only after the rewritten pitches are accurate.

What rewriting does not change

Rewriting changes pitch content. It does not change:

  • The connected sending address
  • The official From name
  • The mailbox signature unless that signature is edited
  • The campaign's targeting
  • Previously sent messages

Manage sending addresses and signatures under Email Addresses. Adjust target selection in the media-specific targeting settings.

If a pitch still contains old information

Confirm that the correct profile is selected, the change was saved, and the affected draft was actually rewritten. If the issue continues, keep automated sending off and contact Support with the campaign name and an example that does not expose sensitive customer data.
