šŸ”„ Why Your Campaign Updates Aren’t Showing Up

Here’s how to ensure your updates show up:

āœ… 1. Add New Podcasts to Apply Your Changes

Most changes—like keywords, filters, tones, and writing settings—only apply to new matches.

Click ā€œAdd 20 More Podcastsā€

This forces PodPitch to generate new podcasts based on your updated settings.
These newly added podcasts will reflect the updated keywords and filters.

šŸ”„ 2. Hard Refresh Your Browser

Sometimes your browser displays cached information.

  • Windows: Ctrl + F5
  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

āœļø 3. Know Which Changes Apply Retroactively

Some settings apply moving forward only:

  • Email templates: Updates only affect emails that haven’t been generated yet
  • Follow-up templates: Only change future follow-ups, not ones already created
  • Tone changes / voice changes: Only apply to new email generations
  • Targeting updates: Only affect new podcast matches

Anything already generated will stay as-is unless rewritten.

šŸ’¾ 4. Make Sure You Clicked ā€œSaveā€

Double-check that you:

  • Clicked Save Changes
  • Saw the confirmation message
  • Saved in the correct tab (Campaign Settings vs. Template Editor)

šŸ•’ 5. Allow 1–2 Minutes for Processing

Some updates take a moment to propagate through PodPitch.

šŸ” 6. Check Campaign Status

If a campaign is:

  • Paused
  • Switched Off
  • In Smart Mode, but past the time window

Changes may not immediately apply.

Try toggling the campaign Off → Manual → Smart.

🚪 7. Log Out & Log In

This forces a clean session if the browser has cached older data.

ā“Still Not Seeing Changes?

Message us in the in-app chat with:

  • Campaign name
  • What you edited
  • What isn’t updating

We’ll check it on the backend and fix it right away.
